Final rites will be held at 11 AM tomorrow in the HansenBryan Funeral Home in Fairfield, Solano County, for Master Sergeant Aldren Dwight Cooper, 35, stationed at the Travis A Air Force Base for the last two years. Burial will be in the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, San Mateo County. Cooper died Friday in the base hospital of a heart ailment. He was the husband of the former Mildred Seavy of Sacramento and Woodland, Yolo County, and was stationed in the Azores Islands with the 7th Air Rescue Squadron for three and a half years before being assigned to the Travis field. He was the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Z. D. Cooper of Elm City, NC; brother of Loney, Ralph, Dorothy, and Belle Cooper, Elm City, and Mrs. Ruby Rose and Mrs.
Suidy McGarva of New Jersey and Mrs. Savada Cooper of North Carolina. C. P. Smith Carl P.
Smith, 47, a past president of Sunset Parlor No. 26 of the Native Sons of the Golden West, died Saturday afternoon of a heart attack while visiting the Native Sons Building at 11th and Streets. He was a cement contractor in Sacramento until about five years ago when his health began to fail. Until two years ago he was employed as a custodian at the Native Sons Building. Smith was a member of the John A.
Sutter Assembly 1 No. 10 of the Past Presidents Association, NSGW. He resided at 5661 71st Street. Born in Woodland, Yolo County, he lived in Marysville, Yuba County, and Yuba City, Sutter County, before moving to Sacramento when he was 18 years of age. He played on the high school football team in Yuba City.
Surviving are his wife, Eveleen; stepsons, James, Dennis, David and Pat Osborne; sons, Michael and Carl Smith, his mother, Mrs. Frances Smith of Sacramento; and his sisters, Mrs. Lorraine Donovan of Redondo Beach and Mrs. Earline Nelson of Vallejo, Solano County. IT.
G. Trimble Services were held today for Thomas G. Trimble, 64, a telephone company employe, in San Francisco, Stockton, San Joaquin County, Sacramento and Roseville, Placer County, since 1919. Trimble died of a heart attack Friday while working at the new central dial office in Citrus Heights of the Roseville Telephone Company. He resided at 4225 2nd Avenue.
He started his career with Pacific Telephone and (Telegraph Company i in San Francisco as a cable splicer went to the Stockton office in 1930. He was in the construction department in the firm's Sacramento office for 16 years until his retirement three years ago. Two years ago he went to work for the Roseville telephone firm as a foreman. He was a charter member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and was born in Watsonville, Santa Cruz County, the son of the late Arthur and Eva Downey Trimble, both native Californians. Surviving wife, Florence; a son, Edward A.
of Fresno; grandchildren, Carol and Tomlyn Trimble, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Meadows of San Rafael, Marin County. Cremation followed the rites today in the Andrews Greilich Funeral Home. wife, Eveleen; H. C.
Ramm Final rites will be held at 3 PM tomorrow in the George L. Klumpp Funeral Home for Henry C. Ramm, 52, a parts man for the Capitol Chevrolet Company for the last 25 years. Cremation will be in the East Lawn Crematory. Ramm, a native of Washlington State and a Sacramento resident for 28 years, died Friday in his home, 5753 39th Street.
He had been ill since May. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; sons, John and Carl, both of Sacramento; brothers, Otto of Millbrae, San Mateo County, and Albert of Reno, Nev. L. Scarlett Funeral services for Art Lycurgus Scarlett, 60, a Carmichael resident 20 years, will be held at 2:30 PM tomorrow in the Kraft Brothers Funeral Home in Woodland, Yolo County.
Burial will be in Marys Cemetery in Yolo, Yolo County. Scarlett died yesterday his home, 2517 Fair Oaks Boulevard. He was born near the town of Yolo and lived in Yolo County and Sacramento before moving to Carmichael. He was a Standard Oil Company employe more than 10 years and then went to work at the McClellan Air Force Base in 1940. He was transferred to the security section in 1942 and retired in June of 1956.
Prior to his retirement base Scarlett won commander's the air achieve- force ment award for outstanding service. A veteran of World War he was a member of the American Legion Post No. 447 in North Sacramento and was a life member and past president of the Alumni Association of the California Polytechnic College. Surviving are his wife, bd.
